Welcome to FOUR.FIFTY.FOUR ("454", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, and any purchase you make from us. By browsing our store or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our site at the time of your order is the one that applies to you.

2. Who We Are

454 is a curated vintage and thrifted streetwear label. Our catalog is a carefully sourced selection of vintage thrift and high-quality pre-owned streetwear. We don't just source — we curate. Every garment is hand-selected and inspected in person before it reaches you, so that regardless of its age or origin, it meets our standards of condition and authenticity.

3. Eligibility

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you're legally able to enter into this agreement.

4. Our Pieces & Condition

Because we deal in vintage and pre-owned streetwear, no two pieces are identical. To give you full confidence in every purchase, we describe each item transparently — with detailed photos, measurements, and condition notes covering any wear or flaws. We encourage you to review every detail before purchasing. Slight variations in colour may occur depending on your screen settings, lighting, and photography — this is normal for pre-owned goods and is not considered a defect.

Because our stock is largely one-of-a-kind, availability is not guaranteed and items may sell out at any time.

5. Pricing & Availability

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices, correct errors, and update product information at any time without notice.

If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you've ordered, we'll contact you before dispatch and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where an item is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred.

6. Orders & Payment

When you place an order, you'll receive an automated confirmation email. This confirms we've received your order — it does not guarantee acceptance. A contract of sale is formed only once we've accepted and dispatched your order.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. Once an order is placed, it enters processing and generally cannot be modified or cancelled. Your post-delivery rights are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The FOUR.FIFTY.FOUR name, logo, tagline "Born Different : Die Different", brand imagery, product photography, written content, and overall site design are the property of 454 and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our site lawfully and not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems, or other users' data
• Use the site to transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code

Our pre-owned and reworked pieces are sold on an "as described" basis, with their condition documented in each listing. Beyond what is described, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our site and products are provided "as is" without further warranties. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the South African Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FOUR.FIFTY.FOUR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or your purchase, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where we are found liable, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the item(s) in question.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FOUR.FIFTY.FOUR harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
